The Institute draws on expertise from a diversity of disciplines, from economics, computer science, communication science, philosophy, political science, law and sociology in an inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration as well as on experience from social practice. Currently about 50 scientists from different disciplines at the HHU are conducting research at the DIID.
